- An Age of Wushu employee that supports players in game with various things. The word GM is filtered in-game and shows up as two asterisks.

- A multiplayer co-op game function in which players convert Cultivation Points into skill progression (max. 100k per day) in a player's home. The chat message "100k 00:20" would mean "I am hosting a Home Team Practice at 00:20 and anyone is welcome to join".

- A challenge to a duel.

- The Four Families
- The Four Families are renowned martial arts clans that provide main questlines and repeatable tasks. When players recruit for "4fam," they seek players for the Four Families' weekly group tasks.

- A token-type item that can be exchanged with NPCs.

- One of the popular 99 Sets. This set uses Twin Swords.

- A way of trading by using Carrier Pigeons. A player can send a mail with an attached item, type in a price, and select the COD option. When sent, the receiver can only take the attached item by paying the price. If not paid, the item is sent back to the original owner.

- In Age of Wushu, calling someone a "dog" comes from a long tradition of animal-based insults in Mandarin, where dogs are seen as low and "unclean." As far back as the Qing dynasty, people were called "dog shit" (狗屎, gǒushǐ) to insult their character. Because Age of Wushu draws heavily on classical Chinese culture, this kind of language carries over directly into player-to-player trash talk.
