An Age of Wushu employee that supports players in game with various things. The word GM is filtered in-game and shows up as two asterisks.

One versus one
A challenge to a duel.

Away from Keyboard
Commonly used to let other players know that you will be unavailable for a short time, or to quickly explain an idle period.
AoW
Age of Wushu
The title of the game itself.
ATS
Ancient Tomb Sect
The Reclusive Faction affiliated with Wudang.

Blood Blade Clan
The Reclusive Faction affiliated with Royal Guards.
BD
Blue Dragon
One of the two available servers in Age of Wushu.

A highly populated city in the southwest region.
Cooldown
A period of wait time before a skill can be used after a prior skill.
COD
Cash on Delivery
A way of trading through the mail. A player can send a mail with an attached item, type in a price, and select the COD option. When sent, the receiver can only take the attached item by paying the price. If not paid, the item is sent back to the original owner.

One of many Forbidden Instances. The maximum group size is 6 for Normal difficulty, 12 for Hard, Hell, and Shura difficulties. "GCC normal -4" would mean "We are doing Green Cloud Castle on Normal difficulty, and we're missing four players".

One of the main stats, related to how much life a character has. When attacked, a certain number of health points are lost.

A type of Forbidden Instance.

A daily PvP event in which players enter one of the Eight Great Schools to steal martial arts skill scripts.

Team Practice
A multiplayer co-op game function in which up to 10 players work through martial arts practice together in order to speed up cultivation. Team Practice is most commonly done in Chengdu (900,400), and the area is most populated around 23:59 in-game time. "TP 25r -7" would mean "We are doing a 25-round Team Practice, and we're missing seven players".

Twilight Village
One of many Forbidden Instances. The maximum group size is six. Twilight Village comes in 3 variants: Normal, Hard and Hell. "TV hell -2" would mean "We are doing Twilight Village on Hell difficulty, and we're missing two players".
