Basic Attributes

  • HP - character's Hit Points. When HP reaches zero, character becomes seriously injured, and may go into shock. HP can be recovered quickly by meditating, or taking a pill. It will also slowly recover every 5 seconds while out of combat relative to the value of Stamina attribute. While having a buff to help recover HP, the HP bar will be brighter as opposed to its normal red color
  • Energy - character's internal force. Most moves require it. Energy can be recovered quickly by meditating, or taking a pill. It will also slowly recover every 5 seconds while out of combat relative to the value of Stamina attribute. While having a buff to help recover Energy, the Energy bar will be brighter as opposed to its normal blue color
  • Flying skill Points - required by Flying skills. Recovers automatically, the higher the remaining Flying skill Points value, the quicker the recovery rate
  • Vigor - required to perform Life skills. Each time a player uses a life skill, a set amount of vigor is deducted from their total. The maximum amount of vigor a player has is determined by the levels of their life skills. Its golden bar can be seen in the My Life main interface. It automatically recovers every 5 minutes, amount being based on character's hunger (Nutrition attribute's value). If Nutrition reaches zero, there is still a small amount of Vigor being regenerated. Tonifying Qi Pills can also recover 30 points of Vigor each. Players are only able to recover the maximum amount of their Vigor once per day though, so if they finished their Vigor for the day, they will need to wait another day for it to regenerate. Maximum Vigor is determined by a combination of:
  • Nutrition - assistive Life skills attribute: the higher it is, the faster Vigor recovers. Similar with Vigor, its blue bar can also be seen in the My Life main interface. The nutrition value will automatically go down over time. If it reaches zero, a character starts losing HP - but only up to ... A "starving" state is also shown by an icon in the Buffs/Debuffs and Status area to the left of the minimap and by a system announcement. Characters must eat food produced by Cooks to recover Nutrition. Though it seems logging out for a certain time recovers nutrition too?
  • Infamy - killing and kidnapping other players increases its value. At a high enough Infamy a bounty can be set on a character and authorized players and NPCs can arrest and throw it in prison; the higher the Infamy, the longer the imprisonment. Details in Crime and punishment article
  • Brawn - increases Melee Damage, External Attack Critical Hit and the maximum amount of character HP
  • Posture - increases Ranged Damage, External Attack Accuracy, Evade and the amount of Block Endurance
  • Breath - increases Internal Attack Damage and gives maximum Energy
  • Spirit - increases Internal Attack Accuracy, Internal Attack Critical Hit, Internal Defense, maximum Energy and the rate of Energy recovery. If you land an internal crit hit, this is the "bonus" value.
  • Stamina - increases HP, Resilience and Block Endurance
