Kunlun Sect Skills Meridian

Kunlun Sect is one of the eleven Great Schools in Age of Wushu.

Based in the Kunlun Mountains, this sect combines Taoist principles with martial ambition.

History

Renowned as one of the prominent martial arts sects, this traditional and orthodox faction holds a respected reputation within the Central Plains martial arts world. However, its remote base in the Kunlun Mountains and its emphasis on cultivating skills in seclusion have limited its influence compared to the more active sects of the Central Plains. Despite this, its strength is formidable, and its top disciples rival the finest from any Central Plains sect.

Joining Kunlun Sect

To join the Kunlun Sect, the player must speak with the Kunlun Sect School Guide located in Kunlun Sect.

Requirements

  • The player must be Vagrant.
  • Players who have previously betrayed the Kunlun Sect are prohibited from rejoining the school for 30 days.

Rules

Rule DP
Don't kill Kunlun Sect players. +40
Don't gain infamy (infamy > 8000) +40
Don't break people out of jail +30
Don't gain infamy (infamy > 2000) +20
Don't raid Guild Escorts. +20
Don't gain infamy (infamy > 1) +10
Don't sell kidnapped players. +10
Don't kill other players. +5

The school enforces a set of rules for their disciples. Violating school rules results in the accumulation of Discipline Points (DP). Players can reduce their Discipline Points by repenting at Kunlun Sect.

If a player accumulates more than 100 Discipline Points and enters the school scene, a punishing cutscene is triggered. After the cutscene, the player receives a damage-reducing debuff and their Discipline Points are reset to 100.

The strength and duration of the debuff depends on the number of points the player accumulated. The debuff timer will not progress while the player is offline, and the debuffs can stack if the player is punished multiple times in succession.

Leaving Kunlun Sect

Kunlun Sect disciples who wish to join another school have four options: Tianya Pavilion, Training Away, Disguise, and Betray, each with its own requirements and consequences. Before the player can leave, they must step down from any leadership role in Kunlun Sect (Deacon, Elder, and Grandmaster).

The following consequences apply to all departure options:
