The Miner is a gathering Life Skill. This profession has the following skills:
- Mining: Gather ore from veins.
- Smelting: Smelt the collected ore into ingots.
To gather with the Life Skill, the player must have a pickaxe in their backpack.
Learning the Life Skill[]
Players can learn the Miner Life Skill by paying a small fee in 
Silver Coins to a Miner NPC, who can be found in the starting towns (Qiandeng Town, Yanyu Villa, Jiming Posthouse, Chengdu), major cities (Suzhou, Luoyang, Jinling, Yanjing), and Evil Men's Valley,
Upon learning the Life Skill, the player will gain access to the Mining skill and identity titles. After claiming the first identity title from the identity menu (hotkey U), the player gains access to the Miner daily tasks.
Mining[]
Mining is used to gather ores from veins.
Non-VIP Penalty[]
Non-VIP players experience a penalty when mining, greatly reducing their success rate. Failed attempts cause the pickaxe to lose durability. Using the Gathering Secrets item temporarily eliminates this penalty for one hour.

Daily Task[]
The Miner daily task can be started by talking to the Apprentice NPC standing next to Miner NPC. The task can be done once per day, with each task requiring a type of ore. Reaching a new Life Skill rank will reset the daily quest cycle, allowing the player to complete an additional daily task.
The task reward is a bound scroll that grants Miner experience points when read.

Identity Outfit[]
The top ten Epic Miners (Rank 10) with the highest weekly Ranking Points will receive an Identity Outfit by mail. The Identity Outfit can be worn for 14 days.
