The important internal mental skill of the Scholars, it absorbs the soft chi into the body and accumulates external force to defeat the enemy. Cultivated to the ninth level, its user can become rejuvenated and forever young.
Mingyu Skill is the 2nd tier Internal skill for members of the Scholars.

Quests (Levels 1 to 30)[]
This method is only available to members of the Scholars.
- Cultivate Passing Wisdom Skill to level 30 and accept a task from Xiao Bieqing, Huanhua Washing Sword. After completing the task, the player unlocks levels 1 to 9.
- Cultivate Mingyu Skill to level 9 and accept a task from Xiao Bieqing, Beautiful Song in Twilight Village. After completing the task, the player unlocks levels 10 to 18.
- Cultivate Mingyu Skill to level 18 and accept a task from Xiao Bieqing, Green Cloud Castle Mysterious Case. After completing the task, the player unlocks levels 19 to 30.
Traitor Exchange (Levels 1 to 30)[]
This method is only available to players who have cultivated a 2nd tier School Internal or the 2nd tier Vagrant Internal to level 36.
School Honor Certificates can be exchanged for Mingyu Skill's basic manual and Small Training Scrolls at the Traitor in Scholars (625,666).
- Basic manual unlocks level 1. Costs 40 School Honor Certificates.
- Small Training Scrolls can be used to unlock levels 2 to 30. Each scroll unlocks one level and costs 40 School Honor Certificates.

Spy Mission (Levels 2 to 36)[]
Training Scrolls are sometimes dropped by stunned Scholars Scouting Disciples during a spy mission. Members of the Scholars can't spy in their own school, but they can pick up Training Scrolls left by other spies.
- Small Training Scrolls can be used to unlock levels 2 to 30. Each scroll unlocks one level.
- Big Training Scrolls can be used to unlock levels 31 to 36. Each scroll unlocks one level.

Level 6:
- Increases your base movement speed by 18%.
- Your attacks deal additional external damage. The higher your movement speed, the higher the damage.
Level 16:
- Increases your base movement speed by 23%.
- Your attacks deal additional external damage. The higher your movement speed, the higher the damage.
Level 26:
- Increases your base movement speed by 28%
- Your attacks deal additional external damage. The higher your movement speed, the higher the damage.
Level 36:
- Increases your base movement speed by 33%
- Your attacks deal additional external damage. The higher your movement speed, the higher the damage.
- Attacks have a chance to knock the target down.
