Sacred sites

Sacred Site icons on the map.

Sacred Sites are locations scattered across the world of Age of Wushu that provide environmental bonuses to the player's Internal Cultivation and Team Practice. The cultivation icon above the player's health bar will display a colored dot indicating the current Sacred Site.

There are five types of Sacred Sites: Cave, Forest, Mountain, Snow, and Water. The different types of Sacred Sites are easy to locate using the world map. Snow-type Sacred Sites are scarce.

Internal Cultivation bonus[]

Players within a Sacred Site gain a bonus to Internal Cultivation. Each attribute type of a skill has a favored Sacred Site for 5% bonus. Some additional types of Sacred Sites can provide a lesser 3% bonus.

Trivia[]

  • Although Meridians have an attribute type, they do not benefit from Sacred Sites.
  • In an earlier version of Age of Wushu, towns were a Marketplace-type Sacred Site which reduced the player's Internal Cultivation speed. Despite it being a scrapped feature, towns still display a colored dot on the cultivation icon.
