Here are the release notes for the update released on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022.

New Reclusive Faction: Starry Pavilion[]

Admission[]

Affiliated Great School: Tianshan Sect. Tianshan students may accept a quest from their Headmaster to enter Starry Pavilion. The port NPC is located at Yanyu Villa Pier (804, 1775)

Player who do not belong to a school and whose alignment is not "Evil" can be admitted to Starry Pavilion. Specific qualifications may be found in the UI and at the Stagecoach NPC.

Random Encounter: Players have a chance to be admitted to Starry Pavilion through a Random Encounter.

Females Only[]

Scattered Petals Fill the Sky: Slightly increased damage. Deals 30% bonus damage to enemies knocked to the ground or stunned by Love and Loathing in Spring.
Love and Loathing in Spring: Slightly increased damage. Cooldown reduced by 3 seconds. If the target is already inflicted with Hard to Find, the state will be consumed and regarded as a successful Evasion.
Beauty Fades with Age: Slightly increased damage. If the target is male, the user enters Fragile Beauty state: set's damage is increased by 40%. Fragile Beauty status will weaken by 10% every 2 seconds.

Sinister Axe of the Dragon[]

Slash the River with an Axe: Slightly increased damage. If unparried, refreshes the duration of Firmament Destroyed status.
Revolving Universe: Slightly increased damage. Flying Skill can be used to approach the target.
Murderous Rage Sevenfold: Slightly increased damage. If unparried and if Firmament Destroyed is active, the final hit knocks down the target.

Quanzhen Sword[]

Brilliant Moon: Slightly increased damage. Flying Skill can be used to approach the target.
One Horizon: Slightly increased damage. Less ending lag.
Rally the Legions: Slightly increased damage. If not parried, the user gains Rally the Legions state: 10% increase in damage.

Faction Reworks[]

The Exchange NPC is Da Laohu in Chengdu (725,697).

Golden Needle Sect[]

Garrote of Souls: Slightly increased damage. Upon breaking target's parry, the target's Movement Speed is reduced by 30%.
Guiding Needle: When cast on an ally, HP Recovery is increased by 50% for 5 seconds, weakening by 10% per second. When cast on enemy, the target's Movement Speed is reduced by 10% for 5 seconds when hit, stacking 3 times.
Celestial Maiden Scatters Flowers: Can be cast without charging for reduced recovery. When fully charged, recovers an additional 10% HP within 5 seconds after receiving critical damage (can only be triggered once).

Palace of Shifting Flowers[]

Necrid Blossoms: Slightly increased damage. Cooldown reduced by 2 seconds. After using this skill, Fallen Petals can be cast immediately.
Grafting: Necrid Blossoms can be used to cancel this move.
Descent of the Flower Goddess: Slightly increased damage. Gain "No Match" status when casting: increased Accuracy and immunity to skill disable.

Peach Blossom Island[]

White Waves Cresting: Slightly increased damage. Flying Skill can be used to approach the target.
Demonic Tide: Slightly increased damage. Upon breaking the target's parry, reduces Evasion by 100%.
Cleaving Glacier: Slightly increased damage. Activating this skill grants 1 additional Gong note.

Rootless Clan[]

Meteor Shower: Slightly increased damage. Slightly increased Stun duration.
Flute on the River: Slightly increased damage. Increased charging speed.
Swallows in the Willows: Slightly increased damage. "Evil Influence" will not be consumed if the user has "Evil Influence" status.

Beast Villa[]

Fierce Dragon Shows Claws: Slightly increased damage. Grants "Become a Dragon" status if the user has 5 stacks of "Pounce".
Dragon Swims Everywhere: Slightly increased damage. Grants Yellow Armor if the user has "Dragon Flight" status.
Tiger Steals the Heart: Slightly increased damage. Grants 5 stacks of "Pounce" upon breaking target's parry. "Broken Heart" bonus effect: using Flying Skills results in falling down.

Xu Family Manor[]

Flood of Black Ink: Slightly increased damage. Slightly increased Stun duration.
Trick in the Sleeve: Slightly increased damage. Inflicts the enemy entering the aura with "Out of Ink" status.
So Close Yet So Far: Slightly increased damage. The skill's target changes to the selected target.

Duo Supremacy[]

This activity has been permanently disabled and removed from the game. Unused points can no longer be spent.

Xiao Bieqing Storyline[]

Players meeting the criteria will receive instructions in mail, or can accept quest in Missions tab of Cultivate Often interface. Head to Bao Dating NPC in Suzhou (755, 488) to explore Xiao Bieqing's life story. At completion of the storyline, players will receive a sword lore.

Forbidden Instance: Hidden King Peak[]

Team size: 8-13. Each player can only challenge Hidden King Peak once per week. Instance resets Friday at 9:00.

New item: Tiger Bell. The item can be found in the instance. It can be exchanged for Jianghu Martial Arts Skill Sets and 2 brand new sets (King Kong Chant Pestle, Wild Beasts Slash) at Medicine Grandma in Qiandeng Town (1144,1042).

Martial Tournament[]

Time: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 12:00-23:00, VIP required

Gameplay:

Players must select a setup before entering preparation scene.
After entering the scene, player with highest points will start banning sets.
Each player may then pick 2 skillsets to be used in the tournament.
Every skillset can only be selected by 1 team member of the same team.
If a player only selected 1 skillset, the 2nd set will be random.
Each match is 10 minutes. Match completes when 1 side achieves 20 points. Surrender: When a team is not filled and losing on points, system will trigger a surrender voting interface. When more than half of the team member vote to surrender, battlefield ends without runaway penalty. Rewards: At the end of each battle, players will receive Martial Tokens and chances of other loot. Players that complete weekly goals will receive a large amount of Martial Tokens and Advanced Martial Tokens.

Note:

Martial Tokens can be used at Tan Laohu (Chengdu 724, 687) shop to exchange for Faction skill reworks and Staff Lore.
After Martial Tournament is active, Old Palace Martial Tourney is deactivated.
Players that run away from battlefield more than 10 times in 3 days will be banned for 10 days.

Ancient Tomb Battlefield Update[]

Ancient Tomb Battlefield pairing mechanism converted from power-based matching to rank-based matchmaking. Everyone default to level 1, max is level 5.
Players will be given rank adjustments daily based on performance between 18:00 and 24:00.
During the ranking period, points will be calculated after each match. (Players may queue for battlefield outside this time period, but performance will not be included for ranking purposes)
New ranking system only applies to solo queue.
Every player will drop 2 ranks at the end of the month. Note: After the introduction of the new ranking system, solo queue rules are modified. The new ranking system will not affect rewards from previous battlefield system.

Ranked Battlefield Reward:

Added weekly quests to assist players in collecting Battlefield Master Certificates. Quests can be picked up from Battlefield Master in Suzhou (538,426). (Weeklies do not need to be completed during ranking hours)
Added monthly ranking rewards. Every player level 2 and above will receive a reward at beginning of the month.

Weekly and ranking rewards: Cultivation Pills, Battlefield Points Tokens, Battlefield Master Certificates.

Miscellaneous Changes[]

Self Recollection exchange added to Wu Yi in Suzhou (396,740). Max level 42.
Defeated Scholar's parry break requires the user to be in midair.
Tianshan Meridian items added to Monthly Sign-in NPC.
Ming Reverse Meridian items for the first 5 acupoints added to Zhou Yixian in Suzhou.
Ornamental Sets added to Striving Edge rewards exchange shop.
Added Treasure reroll lines for reworked Female Only, Sinister Axe of Dragon, Quanzhen Sword.

New Ancient Rework Exchange NPC in Suzhou (400,745)
- Recycling: disassemble Ancient reworks to receive an item.
- Exchange shop: exchange the item and "Five Aggregates and Demon-Subduing Item" for Ancient reworks.

- ADBS, ATC, ADC skill reworks are limited to 1 per skill per person per month, and 8 per server.
- GSS skill reworks are limited to 1 per skill per person per month, and 5 per server.

Cloud Valley adjustments:
- Team must consist of at least 8 members to enter instance.
- Team must consist of at least 8 members to start quest.
- Instance will be revoked if quest is not started in a timely manner. Everyone in the instance will be placed on a cooldown for re-entry.
- Instance will be revoked if 1st boss is not killed in a timely manner. Run will not be refunded, and players will not be able to re-enter Cloud Valley that week.
- Instance progress will be recorded on starting the quest.
After adjustment, players may not use bag protection while participating in Flower Prince Ball bidding.
After adjustment, players may not enter Changfeng Escort Agency weekly quest cut scene while in combat.
After adjustment, players may enter Eastern Seas directly without wait by talking to NPC on the boat.
"Gear quick-change" buttons will retain its location after relogging.
Improvements on several items. Adjusted stack amount and reading time.
Activity Points UI improvements.
After adjustments, Jianghu Internal Skills are removed from Skill Fights in Striving Edge.
After adjustments, weapons are automatically equipped and placed in Internal Skills bar for Skill Fights in Striving Edge.
After adjustments, skill bars are reset to player's default after returning from Striving Edge.
Removed "Dai Meridian" acupoint item exchange from Zhou Yixian NPC.
After adjustments, ATC reworks from Cloud Valley and Sky Ladder requires player to have learnt full set of ATC and level 6 of respective skill.
