Weapon is a piece of equipment. When using Martial Arts Skills, a specific type of weapon must be equipped. The only exception is the Barehanded skills, which can be executed regardless of any weapon equipped. Players with the Life Skill of Blacksmith can craft weapons.

Characteristics[]
A weapon's base damage is determined by its quality and class. While quality cannot be changed, the class can be upgraded. Players can temporarily enhance their weapon through poison application.
Poison[]

Poison Makers can craft poisons that temporarily imbue weapons with on-hit effects, such as Stunning, Critical Hit Reduction, and External Defense Reduction. Poisons can be applied to all weapons except for the Thimble, the Barehanded weapon.
Refining[]
Most weapons can be refined to boost their damage. A weapon can be refined up to six times. Only players with the Blacksmith or Cook Life Skill, as specified in the weapon's description, can perform this refinement. These players can also offer the service to others. Each refinement always requires specific materials and a
Tael fee.
It is random whether the weapon requires a Cook's or a Blacksmith's refinement.
Cook's Sharpening[]
When a Cook refines a weapon, it will randomly receive the following boosts, up to six times:
- A general damage boost.
- An external damage boost against parries.
Most players prefer the general damage boost because the boost against parries is situational and does not benefit players who deal internal damage.
Blacksmith's Quenching[]
When a Blacksmith refines a weapon, it will randomly receive the following boosts:
| Refine | Boost |
|---|---|
| 1 | One of the following:
|
| 2 | 10% damage boost to a randomly selected skill of a random set. |
| 3 | One of the following:
|
| 4 | 10% damage boost to a randomly selected skill (same set). |
| 5 | One of the following:
|
| 6 | 10% damage boost to a randomly selected skill (same set). |
Hidden Weapon[]
Hidden Weapons occupy a unique equipment slot separate from standard weapons. Unlike conventional weapons that have durability, Hidden Weapons are consumable items that are used up upon activation. Players with the Life Skill of Blacksmith can craft Hidden Weapons.
